Hi, I’m James Giordani. I help people and organizations harness the benefits of technology.

My path to tech consulting was not exactly traditional. I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan, where I focused on older adult tech literacy - Exploring and creating ways we can use devices to help seniors stay independent for longer and live better lives.

In 2019, I founded Clear Computing LLC, a local tech help company serving Southeast Michigan. We worked with tons of individuals, non-profits, Universities, and small businesses. We proudly developed a special niche working with seniors and those who were less tech-savvy.

In 2024, I sold that company to the good folks at Askevin, Inc. They’re based out of Silicon Valley and hold the same vision of helping people navigate our digital world. I served as their Director of Development.

Today, my work centers on gerontechnology. I partner with startups, businesses, universities, nonprofits, and municipalities to design workflows, user-interfaces, grant proposals, and programs that actually work for older adults.

But my favorite part of the job is the community outreach - I love delivering educational presentations and workshops that bring clarity to our overly complicated digital landscape.

I recently moved from Michigan to Salt Lake City, where I am entering the MBA program at the University of Utah. When I am not translating tech jargon, speaking at conferences, or polishing grants, I am usually playing soccer, practicing yoga, or taking care of my senior cat, Tuco.
